This College has been established by the Order of the Government of Andhra Pradesh vide its G.O. Ms. No. 21, Higher Education (E.C.I) Department dated 25.03.2010 to provide for the advancement of learning and knowledge in Engineering, as JNTUH College of Engineering, Manthani at Karimnagar District, as Constituent College of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad with the infrastructural and financial support of Government of Andhra Pradesh, M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited and JNTUH from the academic year 2010-11. The permanent buildings are being constructed at Pannuru, Mulkapalli (Village), Kamanpur Mandal, Manthani Assembly Constituency, i.e., near Centenary Colony, Karimnagar District.

The College is having the following six branches (intake) of B.Tech degree course:

Based on the request of M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited, the University is providing 5% supernumerary seats in each discipline to the children of the employees of the company. So the intake has risen to 315 and the total students’ strength for the academic year 2010-11 is 312.
Presently the College is situated at Ramesh Nagar, Godavarikhani in the Buildings of M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited, with well established Class rooms and Labs of 1st year B.Tech. Course.
The Principal of the College is Dr. S. Chandra Lingam, Professor of Physics and the Vice-Principal of the College is Dr. B. Anjaneya Prasad, Professor of Mechanical Engineering.
The college is running with good academic faculty. Presently, the College is having a good library and attached hostels for Boys and Girls (temporary) at Ramesh Nagar, Godavari Khani.
Recently M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited has handed over 54.00 acres of land for the construction of proposed buildings. Construction work is in progress.

The JNTUH College of Engineering, Manthani is established in the academic year 2010-11 is now entering into its second year course of study.B.Tech. II year I Semester will commence from 04th July 2011 at Kakatiya Nagar, Godavari Khani in the same old premises and the Hostels will be the same for second year students.

For I B.Tech. (2011-12) batch students, the class work will be at Centenary Colony, Pannur Village, Kamanpur Mandal, which is the new Campus of JNTUH College of Engineering Manthani. The Centenary Colony situated:

:12 kms away from Manthani.

: 53 kms away from Karimnagar.

: 18 kms away from Godavari Khani.

Peddapalli is at enroute to Kazipet to New Delhi railway route.

At Present:All the students who have been allotted by the Convener EAMCET-11 and lateral entry students of ECET-2011, to JNTUH College of Engineering Manthani for admission in to B.Tech 1st year course are hereby informed to report to the Principal along with their Parents/Guardians. The students are also required to pay a special fee of Rs.5500/- on or before 24.08.2011 by 5.00 pm along with their Original admission letter and Chalan of Rs.10,000/-paid, at Principal’s office, H.No:4-4-193, Kaman Center, Near SBI Peddapally Branch, Karimnagar Road, Peddapally.

There is no hostel facility at the new campus. However, the college is providing Private Hostel facility to both boys and girls to the newly admitted students at Peddapalli. The monthly hostel charges will be around R. 2,000/- per month with a deposit of Rs. 2,500/- refundable after four years. The transportation charges have to be borne by the students only.
